Bangin’ Wolves. A group of teenagers, a Spanish club, a morning in the sea, a reminder of those nights we have all had and all remember with sangria tinted sunglasses. Under the shimmer of the dance floor and the spray of a sea wave we see the chinks in this gang’s armour and realise that there’s always more than meets the sun-dazed eye. This piece of writing which merged spoken word with theatrical narrative came runner up in an ideastap competition called Courting Drama with Theatre Renegade. It was scratched at the Bush Theatre Upstairs in July. The script is available upon request via peclairpowell@gmail.com
